Mrs Jo Fearn

Jo lives in Mirfield with her husband Mark, two young sons and a growing number of English bulldogs.

She started her career in public relations close to twenty years ago and has worked with household names such as Cadbury, Schweppes and Reckitt Benckiser, both in the UK and overseas.

Jo has a wealth of experience in voluntary sector management. She has worked with Relate, Save the Children and was, until recently, the Chair of Women’s Aid in Llanelli.

She joined Kirkwood Hospice this year, having relocated to the area from Wales.

“It’s great to be involved in an organisation that makes such a big impact on the local community,” Jo said. “Challenging and exciting times lie ahead, not just for Kirkwood Hospice but across the voluntary sector in general, and I look forward to sharing my experience.”
