Capital Appeal – Kirkwood’s In Patient Building Project

Following our successful launch event at the North Light Gallery yesterday, we thought it important to clarify the headline in today’s Examiner and share the facts about our exciting new build and how our services will continue to run.

Kirkwood Hospice IS NOT closing for 12 months, all our services will continue to operate on the Dalton site as the building work progresses, these include;

Day Care
Drop In Centre
Community Palliative Care Team
Family Care Team
Education and Training
Administration and Support Services
The Fundraising Team
The Capital Appeal Team

People requiring in patient care will be transferred to a dedicated ward at HRI, and will continue to receive the high standards of care provided by hospice staff.
