Complementary Therapies

Kirkwood Hospice has a small team of therapists and volunteers who provide complementary therapies to patients, relatives, carers and staff.

Aromatherapy, massage and reiki are currently available to help with pain relief, relaxation, anxiety and other symptoms. Therapies are available to in-patients, those attending Drop-In and the Support & Therapy Centre, to patients at home and out-patients by appointment.

Referrals can be made on our Referral Form. All those referred will be assessed by a qualified therapist to ensure any treatment would be safe and appropriate.
