Light up a Life

Light Up A Life is a very special appeal where people are invited to dedicate a light on the Hospice’s Evergreen Tree of Lights in memory of a loved one or to honour someone special in their lives. Everyone who dedicates a light receives a card to say that a light will be shining on the tree for their special person whose name is entered in Kirkwood’s Book of Lights, which remains on constant display at the Hospice. They also receive an invitation to the Light Up A Life Dedication Service in Huddersfield Town Hall.

We would like to thank everyone who took part in the Light up a Life campaign in 2011. Over 3,000 people were remembered in our Book of Lights and over 800 people attended the service at Huddersfield Town Hall. We thank you for your support and wish you all a peaceful 2012.
