Coast to Coast Walk
A huge thank you to Jane and Alan Speight and Gordon and Julie Walker, who completed the Coast to Coast Walk for the Hospice in May 2011.
The Coast to Coast Walk, originally devised by Alfred Wainwright, has become one of Britain's most popular long distance routes. It starts at St Bees on the Cumbrian Coast and runs for 192 miles to Robin Hood's Bay on the North Sea, passing through three of Britain's most spectacular National Parks, the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors.
As well as walking almost 200 miles, they raised over £1,500 for Kirkwood!
