The Long Walk Home

Mike and family/friends are undertaking a 155 mile trek in memory of Mike's father in law, Mr Howard Perrin, to raise as much money as possible for Kirkwood Hospice.

Howard died after a long & for sometime successful battle against Leukaemia, Kirkwood provided respite care & support for Howard & the family during the last months, allowing him to pass on with dignity & a loving family around him.

The walk will be done over 6 days easter 2012 following the Pennine Way, Limestone Way, Dane Valley Way, The Cheshire Ring Water-way, Crewe & Nantwich Walk, Shropshire Union Canal, Bishop Bennett Way, & the Offa's Dyke Path in order to get to the exact location of Howard's birth the Raven Inn Welshpool.
