Volunteer Vacancies

We currently have volunteer vacancies in the following locations;

Kirkwood Hospice Shops:

Meltham - Several days during the week are available.  Call Hannah Bamforth, Manager, on 851372 for more details

Almondbury - Wednesday afternoon and Thursday afternoon

Batley – Monday afternoon

Cleckheaton – Friday afternoon, Saturday morning and afternoon

Denby Dale - Friday morning and afternoon
                        Saturday morning and afternoon

Dewsbury – Monday morning and afternoon

Holmfirth -  Saturday morning
                     Sunday morning and afternoon

Honley - Thursday afternoon, Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon

Marsden  - Saturday  morning and afternoon
                    Sunday morning and afternoon

Slaithwaite - Tuesday afternoon

From June 2012 onwards, following the move off-site of the Hospice In-Patient Unit to Ward 11 at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, we will also require volunteers to help on Ward 11 between 9am and 9pm, with tasks including meeting and greeting relatives, serving refreshments etc.
