Tai Chi

Tai Chi is a gentle form of exercise adapted to the capabilities of the individual, focussing on peace and wellbeing. Sessions involve gentle movements which help to relax and strengthen the mind and body.

Tai Chi is offered to patients and their carers. It may be helpful for people troubled by poor sleep, anxiety, a busy mind and those interested in additional coping strategies.

The sessions aim to enable you to carry out the techniques yourself.

Session Dates

Tai Chi is accessed by referral, and takes place on a Friday afternoon in the Meeting Space at Kirkwood Hospice.
