Making funeral donations during the coronavirus pandemic...
Planning a funeral for a loved one is an emotionally difficult time. But in light of the coronavirus pandemic, there are additional factors to take into consideration. Family and friends who want to pay their respects at the service may be limited due to social distancing rules. They may also be vulnerable or self-isolating and unable to attend entirely.
We know that it is very important for people to honour the life of a loved one by making a donation to charity at their funeral. You can still support Kirkwood Hospice in memory of your loved one.
Those who kindly choose to make funeral donations towards our vital work can do so via the donate button at the top of this page or by clicking here.
Please let us know who the donation is in memory of in the comments box, which you will see when you make the gift.
Alternatively, you can set up an online memorial page on our tribute fund site to collect donations from family and friends in your loved one’s memory.
This page can be personalised allowing you post pictures, videos or music, light a candle or to share memories. It can also show a total of the donations raised in in your loved one’s name.
You can set up an online memorial page to collect your in lieu of flowers donations at: https://kirkwood.muchloved.org/
