Your Run Your Way

Whether you're a seasoned runner or you've taken up the hobby over the last few months, join Kirkwood this September and take on Your Run Your Way!

The coronavirus outbreak has had a huge impact on everyone. As the country went into lockdown, we had to find new ways to keep busy and active at home.

With major running events for this year being cancelled, we want to help you take on the distance your way.

Take on Your Run Your Way in September and run 5k, 10k or 21k (half marathon) for Kirkwood.

Taking part is easy, simply pick a day that suits you best during September, choose your route and get running!

Your Run Your Way is wherever you want it to be, whether you choose to explore your local village, take a trip to your favourite running spot in the countryside or take part on a treadmill in the comfort of your own home.

Registration fee

Registration costs just £5 and all runners will receive a digital certificate of completion. Runners also have the option to be included in our Finisher's Board, which will be available on our website and social media.

How does it work?

Once you have signed up, you will be prompted to set up a JustGiving page to fundraise. There is no minimum sponsorship for taking part in Your Run Your Way, all we ask is that you raise as much money as possible! All money raised will help Kirkwood Nurses continue caring for some of the most vulnerable patients in your local community.

Plus, runners that raise £50 or more will receive an exclusive runners T-shirt!

If you choose to set up a JustGiving page, you can then link your Strava profile to log any training sessions and keep your followers updated on your progress.

Then, taking part in Your Run Your Way is really easy. All you have to do is pick a day in September and the distance you're challenging yourself to complete, and get running!

Just make sure to record your run so you can send us the evidence that you've taken part to receive your certificate of completion.
