Midnight Memory Walk

Kirkwood is pleased to be able to reschedule the 2020 Midnight Memory Walk and bring the whole community together to walk in memory of loved ones, wherever and whenever you like!

Following the most recent guidance from the Government around the current coronavirus crisis, we sadly had to postpone the Midnight Memory Walk, which was due to take place on Saturday 20th June.

We've been working hard behind the scenes to create a new plan; a plan that makes sure you can still walk in memory of your loved ones this year, one way or another. Although the Midnight Memory Walk won’t be going ahead in June, we are delighted to announce we have secured a brand new date later in the year: Saturday 10th October!

Starting and finishing at the University of Huddersfield, lace up for our six or 10 mile route in memory of your loved ones. The walk is suitable for all abilities and you can walk at your own pace. It's all about having fun, remembering special people and making new memories with your loved ones. You can even bring your canine companions along.

However, we know that this date might not work for everyone, so we are delighted to launch our Virtual Memory Walk!

Whether you are unable to make the new date, or you'd prefer to to take part in a different way this year, you can still lace up and walk six or 10 miles this October.
