Job Description:

Office Based within the Fundraising office

We are currently seeking volunteer support within our Fundraising Team, located at Dalton, Huddersfield.

As part of our fundraising activities, we place coin collecting tins in local businesses and community groups across Kirklees.

The volunteer’s role is to make outbound telephone contact with existing supporters to arrange timely collection and or replacement of tins.

It is important our volunteers are able to demonstrate a professional, confident and friendly telephone manner and have basic Excel and computer skills to enable the outcome to be recorded appropriately.

This is an ideal volunteering opportunity for anyone who enjoys speaking to people, has good interpersonal skills and basic computer skills who would like to undertake some volunteering work whilst supporting the Fundraising team at Kirkwood Hospice.

The role is flexible and would suit volunteers who can offer a commitment of their time on a regular or ad-hoc basis, whether this is a few hours per day, week or month.
