Education Programme
At Kirkwood Hospice we strongly believe that education is the key in understanding the needs of both people who have a life threatening illness and their carers. Once we understand these needs, then we are in a better position to learn the skills required, in order to provide high quality support.
All our courses are based at Kirkwood Hospice (unless stated otherwise), in a purpose built education suite that is independent of the patient areas. This provides a quiet environment close to local amenities, free parking and on-site catering, all within a private and tranquil setting.
The 2013 Education Programme can be downloaded below, together with an application form. Completed forms and cheques (where required) should be returned to Ann Moorhouse, Human Resources Administrator, Kirkwood Hospice, 21 Albany Road, Dalton, HD5 9UY, West Yorkshire.
