Fundraising
This year it will cost over £4.5 million to maintain services at Kirkwood Hospice.
Ongoing grants from the local Primary Care Trusts represent less than 18% of these costs. This means that the Hospice needs to raise over £3.7 million in voluntary income every year in order to continue to care for patients.
In order to raise this money we rely on the support of individuals, companies, organisations – people like you. There are many ways in which you can help Kirkwood Hospice, from taking part in one of our events to joining our lottery, from shopping in one of our shops to organising your own fundraising initiative. However you help, your support will be greatly appreciated and your gift will help Kirkwood Hospice to provide care for the people of Kirklees who need us.
Please remember that our team of fundraisers is here to help you. If you have any queries about fundraising or need further information please do not hesitate to call us on telephone number 01484 557911 or e-mail Emily Kennedy, Fundraising Administrator and Database Manager at emily.kennedy@kirkwoodhospice.co.uk
Your gift will help to secure the future of Kirkwood Hospice – Thank You.
